This is how it all started…
I am a mother of four, a partner, a daughter, a sister, an employee, a friend, and a confidant. These are all roles I played for others. But when it came to describing myself, I often found myself at a loss. I was the epitome of a self-confessed people pleaser. My likes were shaped by those around me, my wants were tied to others’, and my actions were always in service of everyone else. I had no real sense of self—no idea who I was beyond all the noise. It was deflating, confusing, and, frankly, sad.
I had an overwhelming need to discover who I truly was. It wasn’t just a desire; it was a necessity. I couldn’t keep living this way—it was eroding my self-confidence, damaging my relationships, and diminishing my self-worth. My inner dialogue? It was harsh and relentless. Something had to change, and it had to happen quickly.
Join me on this journey of self-discovery. Let’s find ourselves together. Through writing, learning, and exploring, we can uncover our true souls and bring them to the surface. After all, who are we if not our authentic selves?
